SRS wool is sourced from a group of certified woolgrowers in Australia, who breed a specific type of Merino sheep which has a “soft rolling skin” (SRS). Not only is the wool fibre from such sheep is soft and bright, but the sheep are naturally resistant to fly strike and thus don't have to be mulesed.
New Chuwa introduced their Eco range of shrink-resisted treated tops, which during chemical processing no Chlorine or other halogens are used, ensuring that no Absorbable Organic Halogens (AOX) are produced and discharged into the effluent from the process.
